Monday

AN INSIGHT INTO THE HEART OF THE CABLE CARS
01.06. – 05.10.2020 / 10 AM
How does a cable car work? How is artificial snow actually produced? And what does a snow groomer look like from the inside? You can get answers to these and many other questions every Monday at the Technical Day on Monte Elmo.

REINDEER FEEDING
20.07. – 24.08.2020 / 14 PM
Be there when the only reindeer herd in the Alps is being fed and pick up lots of interesting and curious facts about this unique deer species. The friendly four-legged friends are looking forward to your visit!

Tuesday

SUNRISE EXPERIENCE
07.07. – 08.09.2020
Start the day on the summit of the mountain: early in the morning the Sesto Monte Elmo cable cars will take you up to this unforgettable natural spectacle. You can then enjoy a hearty breakfast at the Monte Elmo restaurant. (Registration by 5 pm the day before)

FUNBOB BY NIGHT
07.07. – 01.09.2019 / UNTIL 22 PM
All clear for the night owls! The summer toboggan run is open all day every Tuesday until 10 pm! In the Rifugio Gigante Baranci you can enjoy a Tyrolean evening with typical South Tyrolean cuisine.

Wednesday

SUNDOWN HIKE
01.07. – 09.09.2019
There’s no better way to bring a day to an end than enjoying the sunset at 2,150m above sea level! After a fortifying dumpling soup at Monte Elmo restaurant we hike to Olperl’s mountain lakes to catch the last rays of the sun. (Registration by 5 pm the day before)

DUMPLING COOKING CLASS
10.06. – 09.09.2019 / 10–12 AM
Would you like to know how South Tyrol’s national dish is made? Rita will teach you! From 10 am followed by tasting at the Monte Elmo restaurant. (Registration by 5 pm the day before)

GIANT’S HAUNOLD KIDS PARTY
03.07. – 04.09.2020 / 10 AM–16 PM
Every Friday children can let off steam at the Gigante Baranci’s large mountain play area where there’s a wide-ranging entertainment programme with various guests and exciting games. Have fun!
